about

As easy as it is to lose sight of the path we have chosen, with anger, greed, hatred, malice and lust waiting in the shadows to ensnare us. We must not subject ourselves to a self-manufactured apprehension, brought forth by the naysayers who serve as roadblocks our journey. We as humans are capable of surmounting unbelievable trials and we must refuse to be slowed by weaker minds.

lyrics

I and the Universe, one and the same
Breathing life into all creation
Defining my own existence
I see the path before me
The choices made have led me here
The winding roots of possibility
I won’t look back, I won’t look back
Naïve Realism, Reflections of the Human Brain
“What could have been” – a burden I refuse to bear
I see the path before me
The choices made have led me here
The winding roots of possibility
I won’t look back, I won’t look back
This is the mountain
On which I will build my temple
To stand tall in both light and darkness
A new perception of self-reflection
I am the eyes, of the universe
Use my brain, to understand yourself
These walls will stand the test of time
Giving me a purpose to venture on
Cast aside the expectations
Of those who’d tell you how to live
